Saluting ‘Peter Douche’!
He is really @AngryBerner.
At Twitter, my favorite now is “Peter Douche,” a parody account of Hillary Clinton sycophant and Democratic Party political hack Peter Daou.
Daou, who was in the losing Democratic presidential campaigns of 2004 John Kerry and 2016 Hillary Clinton, has this way about him in which he manages to blend both ignorance with arrogance. He’s an unintended self-parody.
As Twitter’s @CoolBlue71, I am one who does not Tweet anything directly to Peter Daou. This is because I find him too entertaining to want to get blocked. As I Tweeted, on September 14, 2017, to progressive writer and podcaster Katie Halper, “Peter Daou is the gift which keeps on giving. To the Republican Party.”
Below are some recent “Peter Douche” Tweets I appreciate. (The first two address the recent, pro-Hillary propaganda creation Verrit.)
I encourage familiar readers to post some of their favorites from “Peter Douche.”

Another fake verrit, but I'll address it. Hillary may have picked a dud, but at least he didn't bring his own voters like Bernie would have. pic.twitter.com/VKkYafiHQD— Peter Douche (@AngryBerner) September 11, 2017

09.25.2017 | Tim Black & H.A. Goodman
On Monday [September 25, 2017], Tim Black and H.A. Goodman had a really good No Sell Outs discussing the topics of NFL teams kneeling, in the season following Colin Kaepernick’s protests, how real it all is, President Donald Trump, and the Democratic Party in general. Plenty is covered in this program. It is worth sharing.

Colin Kaepernick
It was suggested to me that I create a day’s thread on 29-year-old NFL quarterback—and free agent—Colin Kaepernick.
This is a thread inviting participants to post what is on one’s mind.
I will note the following:
On September 20, 2017 was this YouTube-uploaded video from The Jimmy Dore Show (who, by the way, will be the topic for an upcoming day’s thread)...

Day One
This is Day One of this new blog site, Progressives Chat.
I am new to having a blog. So, I will not say too much.
I encourage an open flow of comments from participants—even if a comment is not related to the topic of the day.
I hope for success with Progressives Chat.
Speaking of “Day One,” today is the first day of the official and new 2017–18 television season. New series. Returning series. Broadcast networks ABC, CBS, CW, Fox, Ion, MNT, NBC, PBS.
It may not have escaped people about some politics—or even themes—which have a presence in some television series. One such series I regularly watch is CBS’s Scorpion. It is not a series regularly into politics. (It’s based oh-so-loosely on the life of Scorpion Computer Services CEO Walter O’Brien.) But, Team Scorpion is contracted by Homeland. Last season, in its election-themed episode, “We’re Gonna Need a Bigger Vote,” the Chinese were interfering in the United States presidential election. (In real life, the charge—at least by Hillary Clinton and establishment Democrats—was that it was Russia.) ABC’s Designated Survivor has an independent president of the United States. It has some notions of how Washington, D.C. can function combined with how elected politicians operate. In other words, this is all entertainment.
