Last week, Amazon employees in Staten Island, in New York, voted to unionize.
Big credit goes to former Amazon employee Christian Smalls!
Hard Lens Media, and numerous of Progressives Chat’s recommended Videos sources, covered this. But, Available Only for Campaign—as one viewer describes AOC—inserted herself with an attempt to create the impression that she has been actively helpful to the workers in their efforts.
Hard Lens Media did a really good job with this. Its above 23-minute video clip, which includes a viewer’s description of the congresswoman from New York, 14 minutes in, deserves to be noted.

A Slap—and Pfizer—At the Oscars
Last week, Will Smith won the 2021 Oscar for Best Actor for his performance as former tennis coach Richard Williams, the father of professional tennis players and stars Venus and Serena Williams, in director Reinaldo Marcus Green’s film King Richard.
The Oscar talk was not of the winners and/or the quality of the overall presentation of the ceremony. It was focused on Smith, in his response to jokes about his wife and her medical condition, having walked onto the stage to slap and, after he returned to his seat, having further threatened comedian Chris Rock.
More interesting is this: Pfizer was one of the sponsors of the 94th Academy Awards on ABC. Franc Anaylsis has recognized this…and that Pfizer may be developing medication for Apolecia, the condition suffered by Jada Pickett Smith. So, Franco and his panel had their discussion. (It was not their only topic. Video runs 2 hours and 25 minutes. Which may be, while important, too much for some. A related clip, at 12 minutes, follows. These three embedded videos, in this week’s blog topic, combine for three hours.)
